Goura Purnima 2011 "Prem Baba"
As today is March 19, 2011 I would like to remind us about the birthday of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, who appeared 1486 in Navadvaipa, Bengal, India. He born in a full moon night during a lunar eclipse. Throughout His life Sri Caitanya inaugurated the Kirtna movement. Nowadays, many people perform Kirtan sessions by chanting Hare Krishna Mantra, and other Mantras, but the originator of this trend was Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, known as the Krishna Avatara for Kali-Yuga. Mahaprabhu suggested that the congregational chanting of the Holy Names of God are the remedy for counteracting the current negative effects of Kali-Yuga (the Age of quarrel). However, He give emphases to the chanting of Krishna's Names, such as Govinda, Mukunda, Madhava, Hari and many more. Eventually the Hare Krishna Mantra became popularized.
Kirtan primarily consist in a congregational chanting of Mantras, with music instruments in glorification of one or more Gods, for example Vishnu; Rama; Krishna; Shiva; Ganesha, Kali, etc... Traditionally after the Kirtan, the audience would partake the foodstuff (prasadam) offered to the God or Gods, all Hindu Temple honor this procedure.

Guru Purnima/ Prem Baba/ Brazil 2010
Guru Purnima festival celebration is a Homage to the teacher or Guru. The Guru Purnima day is also known as “Vyasa Purnima”. This Guru Purnima day is dedicated to teachers and that’s why it is called Guru Purnima. The guru or a teacher guides us in all conditions and gives us inspiration to walk on the right path in our life. Sri Prem Baba will be honored on this day of Guru Poornima. This festival will be commemorated on Sunday, July 25th, 2010. So as I am writing, it is only 8 days before the Guru Purnima.

Prem Baba- Hawaii 2009/
As it was predicted, Sri Prem Baba in Hawaii, 2009, had a enormous response. From May 1th to May 4th, as his lectures series and gathering started, about 200 people arrived at events that took place at Kalani Retreat and Ramasala , Big Island.
Sri Prem Baba blessed every new initiated by touching their third eye and the heart Chakra. By doing so its is believed that he was transmitting the spiritual current from his lineage and clearing the individual consciousness and the heart of the new members.
At the end of his discourses, Sri Prem Baba invites all to visit his Ashram in Brazil, as well as, to his most recent international project in India, which include a new guest house and a large hall for gatherings. The international project is part of the Headquarter of Sacha Mission, located in Rishikesh, India, where his Guru, His Divine Grace Hans Raj Maharaji resides. Sri Hans Raj Manaraji also known as Sacha Baba is the excellent and illustrious disciple of Sri Kulanandji Sacha Babaji and spiritual Master of Prem Baba. He is affectionately known as Maharaji. Maharaji is the title that his disciples gave to him. He became enlightened in 1955, on the very next day after meeting his Master in Allahabad. He is the latest successor in a line of spiritual masters -which was started at the beginning of the 20th century- with the aim of leading the entire humanity in the great adventure of the spiritual Transformation.
After proper care on discharging his duty towards family life and other social obligations, Maharaji left his household life to exclusive dedication to his Master and Mission. After so many years immersed in the luminous path of Self-Realization, today at the age 85 he dedicate most of his time in deep meditation, however, he still finds time to comfort those sincere souls, who are honestly seeking spiritual guidance to understand the true meaning of life.
In this way, with a heart that encompasses all living beings, Maharaji works night and day for this task so that each human being on this planet will find true happiness.

Hawaii Rainbow Clips

I will try my best to collect all those clips that I produce and others, which might have direct or indirect connection with the core ideas of this Blog. Hawaii Rainbows
Aloha, below are some pictures taken from a gathering at Jerrel's place in Hawaii Paradise Park. We all had a great time, watching and helping to make the herbs healing tea from Amazon for the healing session, which was followed by practicing Prem Baba's Hinarios. This gathering happened about 3 weeks ago, around July 4th and 5th, 2008. Most recently, there were other gatherings at Jerrel and Alexander's place. I heard great things about the last one, on July 19, at Alexander's house, but unfortunately I had to pass. Nevertheless, soon I will be able to catch up with the train, one again.
